The collection was designed by Christiane Gawlik, who is a studied fashion designer and works in the repair shop at Globetrotter's Hanover branch. For the collection, she used discarded clothing and other materials such as tents, climbing ropes and fabric advertising banners that came from the central warehouse in Ludwigslust. For some pieces, defective parts like zippers and snaps alone were replaced, and broken areas were patched. Other pieces that could not be repaired were recycled and made into new pieces. This includes a complete women's outfit and a men's outfit, as well as two more jackets and bags.

One piece, for example, got both a functional and more fashionable update. A Softshell-Jacket by The North Face had a broken pocket. After it had been fixed the designer Christiane Gawlik still wanted to upgrade the jacket as it was a little simple in style. So she used a colorful Cotopaxi Downvest that was ripped from the chest downwards. She cut the vest in half and put it on the jacket. Additionally she used an old climbing rope and made another drawstring, so that the jacket also got a different shape. Now the jacket is a true eyecatcher and at the same time highly functional. The perfect outdoor fashion piece!
